Lunch 'n Learn Feature Presentation:

FLATpak Coiled Tubing Umbilicals

FLATpak is a novel coiled tubing product comprising two or more steel coiled tubing strings arranged side by side and encased in durable thermoplastic. This presentation will discuss the advantages of multi-string umbilicals, the technical obstacles overcome during manufacturing and the challenges involved with deploying an encapsulated tubing system with a rectangular profile using a conventional coiled tubing unit.

Case histories of various different applications and different umbilical configurations will be presented.

The speaker is Collin Morris, President of CJS Coiled Tubing and one of the drivers behind the development of this truly unique technology.
